Mark Matthew Carpenter, 20, of Tucson, pleaded responsible for failure to use a seat belt and was found responsible for failing to check speed to avoid an accident and was given fines and fees totaling $276. Charges of not having registration in possession and failing to provide proof of financial responsibility were dismissed. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed. Bibiana Gonzalez Leal, 29, of Nogales, was found responsible of not having mandatory insurance and having a crack in the windshield and was given fines and fees totaling $1,164. Joseph Lee Bedford, 45, of Tucson, pleaded responsible to driving on a suspended license and was found responsible for failing to obtain a current Arizona registration and was given fines and fees totaling $793.
