Thanks from Food Bank

Through the generosity of individuals, groups and businesses; the Community Food Bank is able to distribute turkeys to our clients this month and, in December, we will distribute hams.

We are anticipating serving over 2,000 family members and seniors over this coming holiday season, which is an increase of 86 percent over 2007.

It would be nice if we could include other holiday fixings with these items; so if you can find it in your hearts to help; we need the following: canned yams, canned cranberry, stuffing mix, gravy mixes, pumpkin pie filling, Bisquick, cake mixes and frosting and Jell-O. In addition to the special holiday food, we can always use other food donations.

On behalf of Executive Director Mary Jane Goodrick, staff, volunteers and the Advisory Board, I thank you for your continued support and wish one and all a happy holiday season.
