Pampered Pets reopens for business

Pampered Pets Boutique in the Continental Shopping Plaza is open for business once again after closing for more than a month because of the death of co-owner Mike Stalling.

His business partner, Anastasia Stalling, took time off to recover, deciding to continue with the business and reopening in September. Pampered Pets first opened its doors in Green Valley in February 2007.

Partners for more than 25 years, Anastasia said the pet-specialty store was a dream they both shared.

“It’s been very difficult without Mike, but I need to go on,” Anastasia said. “We both wanted to see this business make it and I believe I need to try to stay open, even though it’s been very hard. I’ve made many friends here and regular customers have been very supportive.”

Customers will find shelves stocked with items ranging from pet art, pet books, figurines, pet apparel and collars, toys, shampoo, toothpaste, brushes, bowls, pet totes, novelty pet cards, snacks and vitamins.

The boutique also regularly displays information on pets available for adoption from The Animal League of Green Valley and Paws Patrol.

The shop also sells Nature’s Logic, an all-natural product for dogs and cats. Pampered Pets Boutique, near China Vic’s, is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can reach the store at 398-7387.
