Obituariesof Green Valley, passed away May 17, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson after a siege of poor health. He was born in North Platte, Neb. raised in Kansas and lived coast to coast. He was in the Signal Corps during World War II. After discharge in 1945, he married his wife, Virginia, who survives him. They then attended the University of Kansas. Upon graduation he worked for 35 years as an electrical engineer for the General Electric Co. in Aircraft Engine Testing. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons Dana and Neil Woodcock, granddaughters Alicia and Rachael Woodcock, grandsons Gabe and Kyle England, all of California. A daughter, Sharon Milligan, preceded him in death. He is also survived by a sister, Vera Black of Kansas City, Mo. He moved to Green Valley in 1986. He loved traveling and his lapidary work. He was a member of the Green Valley Community Church. A private graveside service will be held May 21, at the Green Valley Mortuary.
